Old Railroad Bed

This "trail" is an old railroad bed that goes from somewhere past Knapps Station (Winthrop) to Norwood. it's mostly used as an ATV/snowmobile trail, but we took the jeeps down it quite a bit. At times there are water holes that will come up over the hood, in some places.

Warning

there is a bridge on this trail that is not wide enough for anything bigger than an ATV/snowmobile to pass. you will have to do an "Austin Powers 70 point turn" to get back to where you came from*

  • This has diminished. have people found this trail and done a million "70 point turns" in order to widen it out right in front of the bridge on the narrow side? yota pickup did a 4pt turn and was out easy. a jeep could probably pull a u-turn off :P
