Dedication is... tearing apart your starter in the parking lot at work... just so you can go on your lunchbreak.
... and leaving work on your lunchbreak the next day, to go home and do it again.
... swapping your engine because the old one just won't run right.
... swapping your transmission (twice) because the first won't match the new engine, and the second just plain sucked.
... stopping at the auto parts store on payday.. every week.
... having a category in your checkbook called "Jeep"... that outweighs the "Bills" category once every couple of months.

... driving 20 straight hours (there and back) to pickup a $500 1988 subaru with blown transmission (sight unseen)

Reassembling the rear of the truck at 4am, and pumping it with frozen 90 weight in 10 degree weather... just so I can drive to work that morning...

Having every local auto parts store know who you are, just by the sound of your voice on the phone...

Realizing everyone at those stores also knows the Make, Model, Year, and Mods that have been done to the truck by heart...
